Wrinkles and Vitamin C

October 17th, 2013 • Posted by Debra Ford • Permalink

Wrinkles are inevitable, but the rate at which they appear is up to you. Vitamin C is one of the most important vitamins to get into your diet to prevent the formation of new wrinkles, as well as the little things like making sure you take time out to relax and remove stress from your life as much as possible. In the October issue of The American Journal of Not Clinical Nutrition, one of the first studies on Vitamin C and wrinkles found that people who ate plenty of Vitamin C rich foods had fewer wrinkles than those who didn't. Sea Buckthorn berries are just one food from a class of foods that is particularly high in Vitamin C, along with others such as Acai and rosehips. It's been said that the South American Camu Camu berry is the most concentrated source of Vitamin C in the world, however! So as you can see, not only applying Vitamin C to the face is beneficial for wrinkle reduction, you also have to eat it.

January 8, 2013  Are you starting off 2013 again with a diet plan??
Why call it a "diet plan"? Why not call it a life change?  One way to start off the new year is trying one of our Mummy Wraps.

Cleopatra's Mummy Wrap is a firming and toning process that produces results by detoxifying the body. This is not a water loss program, and not a dehydration type of body wrap. The loss is due to toxins being moved from the fat cells into the lymphatic system. You must drink water to flush the toxins from the lymphatic system. The body wrap solution continues to work in the body for three days. On the fourth day, have another body wrap. Most times, the measure prior to the wrap will be even small than after the previous wrap because of the continued water flush.

It is a great way to kick start your regimen along with adding more Fruits and Vegetables and Move!!
